Lincoln Center’s Great Performers presents Belgium’s acclaimed period-instrument ensemble Collegium Vocale Gent Choir and Orchestra performing Bach’s magnificent St. Matthew Passion on Saturday, March 31 at Alice Tully Hall. Under founder and music director Philippe Herreweghe, described by The New York Times as “ever the adventurer” in a recent review of the White Light Festival, Collegium Vocale Gent will interpret what is widely considered Bach’s greatest composition.
