JUST RELEASED: Cellist Andreas Brantelid and pianist Shai Wosner will perform sonatas by Debussy, Kodály, and Brahms, as part of Lincoln Center’s 2012 Great Performers series.

This “Sunday Morning Coffee Concert” will take place on Sunday, March 18, at 11:00 a.m. in the Walter Reade Theater. “Sunday Morning Coffee Concerts” bring rising artists to Lincoln Center for engaging one-hour music programs that are followed by receptions with refreshments in the Walter Reade Theater’s Furman Gallery, where audience members are able to mingle with the performers.

Works by Ibert and Ravel will be featured when the Parisii Quartet from France performs at a “Sunday Morning Coffee Concert” at Lincoln Center on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Walter Reade Theater.Formed in 1984 by four prize-winning graduates of the Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris – Arnaud Vallin, violin; Jean-Michel Berrette, violin; Dominique Lobet, viola; and Jean-Philippe Martignoni, cello – the Parisii Quartet won early acclaim with its triumphs at three major international competitions: Banff (1986), Munich (1987), and Evian (1987). Invitations followed from the major concert halls and festivals of Europe, and since then, the Parisii has since toured regularly throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. Highlights of the Parisii’s recent European seasons include concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Edinburgh, Lausanne, Barcelona, and Madrid.
